Privacy Policy
Effective June 12, 2026
Concert Raptors is a private, members-only community for buying, selling, and giving away concert tickets, and for talking about music. It is run by the community's admins, not a company, and it exists for members, not for advertisers. We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't use tracking or analytics tools.
What we collect
- Your name: set when an admin creates your invite (you can change it in settings). There are no passwords and no third-party logins, access is by personal invite links from admins who already know you.
- What you post: ticket listings (including photos you upload), discussion threads, recommendations, comments, calendar RSVPs, and direct messages.
- Optional profile details: a profile photo, bio, and Venmo handle, if you choose to add them. Your Venmo handle is shown on your listings to make settling up easier.
- Optional recovery email: used only to send you sign-in links when you ask for one. It's never shown to other members and never used for anything else.
- Technical basics: a session cookie so you stay logged in (this is the only cookie we set), and standard server logs.
How we use it
- To run the community: showing your posts and profile to other approved members.
- To verify membership: admins confirm you're part of the community (usually over Facebook Messenger) before creating your invite.
- To power search: the text of posts is converted into search embeddings so members can find listings and threads. This processing happens on our hosting provider's infrastructure (Cloudflare).
- To keep the community safe: moderators can review reported content, and moderation actions are logged.
Who can see your content
- Posts, comments, recommendations, RSVPs, and your profile are visible to approved members only, nothing is public.
- Direct messages are visible to you and the person you're messaging. Like any service, those running the infrastructure could technically access stored data; we don't read DMs except where required to investigate abuse reports.
- Admins and moderators can see the membership queue, reports, and an audit log of moderation actions.
Services we rely on
- Cloudflare hosts the app, the database, uploaded images, and the search index.
- Spotify and Apple Music players are embedded when members share song links (for example, in playlist games). Loading those players is subject to Spotify's and Apple's own privacy policies, the same as visiting their sites.
Payments never touch Concert Raptors, members settle directly with each other (e.g., Venmo or Zelle), and we never collect or process payment information.
Deleting your data
Ask any admin to delete your account. We remove your name, photo, bio, and Venmo handle, and sign you out everywhere. Posts and comments you wrote remain (so conversations stay intact) but are re-attributed to "Deleted member."
The fine print
- Concert Raptors is not directed to children under 13.
- If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll post about it in the community before the change takes effect.
- Questions or requests: message an admin in the community, reach out through the Facebook group, or email teh@raptor.pizza.
